Rentline is for shops that rent out equipment and tools, party and event gear, or outdoor gear. Customers see the rate for every rental period, compare items by their specs and send rental requests. All of it uses native Shopify features.

Made for how rentals sell
Customers want a price before they phone. Rentline shows the rate for each period, the specs that decide the choice, and a way to send dates or a quote request.
Rates for every period
Show hourly, daily, weekly and monthly rates side by side, and let customers estimate the cost of any rental length.
Compare items by spec
Key specs on cards and product pages, a full spec sheet and a side-by-side compare table, all from product metafields.
Requests, not checkouts
Customers add requested dates to the order or send a quote request, with native Shopify forms and no extra apps.
Rental features
Each feature is a section or a block that you add, move or remove in the theme editor.
Rental periods as variants
Each rental period, for example 4 hours, 1 day, 1 week or 4 weeks, is a product variant with its own price. Product cards show the price per period.
Rate table with savings
The rate table lists every rental period with its price and shows how much customers save on longer periods.
Rental cost estimator
Customers enter a rental length and see an estimate. The estimator uses the prices of the product’s own variants.
Requested dates
Customers enter a start date and an end date. The dates are saved on the order, and you confirm availability.
Quote requests
A “Request a quote” button in the header, a quote page and a quote request on the product page. They use the Shopify contact form.
Compare machines
Customers add two or more products to Compare and see their specs side by side in one table.
Spec sheets and key specs
Specs come from product metafields: key specs near the price, a full spec sheet, spec chips on cards and the compare table.
Delivery area check
Customers enter a postal code and see if you deliver there. The check uses the list of areas you enter in theme settings.
Safety and manuals
Numbered safety warnings and download buttons for manuals and other documents on the product page.
Deposit and damage waiver
A short deposit and waiver note on the product page, with a link to a damage waiver page made from its own template.

Works with rental booking apps
Rentline does not include a booking calendar or an availability check. For live availability, add a booking app from the Shopify App Store. The product and featured product sections have app blocks, and you can hide the period picker when the app sets the rental period.
