Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Transactful is operated by Furvur Inc, a company registered in Ontario, Canada, registration no. 82232 2558 (“Transactful”, “we”, “us”). These terms govern your use of the transactful.com website and the Transactful application for Shopify (the “Service”).

2. The service

Transactful provides wholesale onboarding and trade credit tooling for Shopify merchants: application forms, VAT number validation, approval workflows, credit limits, and checkout enforcement. The Service assists your credit decisions; it does not make them.You remain solely responsible for decisions to extend credit to your buyersand for any losses arising from unpaid invoices.

3. Accounts and acceptable use

You must have authority over the Shopify store you connect. You agree not to misuse the Service: no unlawful use, no attempts to breach security, no reselling without our written agreement, and no use to evade tax obligations.

4. Fees

Subscription fees are billed through Shopify's billing system at the prices shown on our pricing page at the time of subscription. Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. You can cancel any time by uninstalling the app; paid periods are not refunded pro-rata unless required by law.

5. Your data

You retain all rights to your data, including buyer applications and documents. We process it to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. On uninstall, we delete store data in line with Shopify's data removal requirements.

6. Third-party services

The Service depends on third parties including Shopify, HMRC's VAT checking service, and the EU VIES system. We are not responsible for their availability or accuracy. VAT validation results reflect those services' responses at the time of the check.

7. Warranties and liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including bad debts owed to you by your buyers, lost profits, or losses arising from decisions made in reliance on the Service.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always available at this page, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate the Service at our discretion, including for breach of these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
